Spring Break Ready at UB4Me Apparel: Giving Back Never Looked This Good!
Sun. sand, lazy mornings, and margaritas. Are you ready for spring break? I don't mean are you anxious for it to get here, but are you prepared? When you aren't on the beach, you will want to look fabulous while shopping, dining, and hanging out with your friends. UB4Me in downtown Alpharetta has everything you need to look hip while you enjoy some down time at the coast.
Owner Jennifer Marisco, manager LeeAnn Coker and their team can outfit you with the perfect shorts, tops, casual dresses, and bags for your early spring trip to the beach. They also stock Kork-Ease shoes which are not only fabulous looking, but incredibly comfortable.
Plus, you don't have to feel guilty purchasing from UB4Me. The store's motto is "Giving Back Never Looked This Good!" and it lives up to its motto. It donates money to a myriad of charities including The American Heart Association, Canine Assistance, SERV International, North Fulton Community Charities, the Drake House, and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Jennifer's husband also designs great looking logos for many charities that Jennifer has printed onto t-shirts, and proceeds from the sales of those t-shirts go to the charity represented on the shirt.
Here are a few outfits Jennifer and LeeAnn put together for an upcoming trip to the beach:
This navy and white side lace up tank by Black Swan and linen shorts by Rag Poets are perfect for a day strolling through shops. The Kork-Ease booties are not only on trend but also extremely comfortable. The fun tie-dye tote wrangles all your essentials plus has room to throw in a swim suit.
These lace up dresses come in coral, light teal, and in a stripe. They are made by Z Supply and the bracelets are by InspireDesigns. These make great looking swim suit cover-ups and can also be worn as a casual dress.
Sometimes evenings at the coast can be a bit chilly and often restaurants like to really crank up their AC. That's why it's nice to pack some pieces that will keep you comfortable in a cooler temps. This long sleeved but light weight tassel bohemian top by Black Swan and skinnies by Hudson jeans are ideal for both situations. The wedges by Kork-Ease finish the look.
I love this outfit. It's casual and chic and raises money for a good cause. The Lucky Girl t-shirt raises money for St. Baldrick's Foundation which supports research for childhood cancer. We've paired it with skinny jeans by Big Star and the same pair of Kork-Ease wedges from the picture above. Those neutral wedges go with everything!
Here are a few more of the t-shirts Jennifer's husband designs to raise funds for various charities. The black t-shirt with the cross and the grey t-shirt on top raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The white t-shirt with the gold emblem is for CURE Childhood Cancer. The purple LOVE t-shirt raises money for Smile Train. The black t-shirt with the heart made of roses is for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. (Jennifer's husband's name) designed the heart with 65 roses because children suffering from cystic fibrosis often have trouble pronouncing the name of the disease and call it sixty five roses.
Did you notice the key necklace on the green t-shirt? It's produced by The Giving Keys. Each key is stamped with a word that the wearer should try to keep in mind such as hope, love, brave, and believe. A really cool thing about this company is that it employs people who are transitioning out of homelessness. Here's a close up of the key.
Another cool jewelry line UB4Me carries has a whistle on every piece. The owner collected whistles for 30 years, then she began making jewelry with them.
Before you head off for a vacation drop by and see the ladies at UB4Me.
