Embroidered Denim
How do you like your jeans? Flared, boot cut skinny? Faded, medium wash, deep indigo? Would you prefer a denim jacket, dress or even shoes? No matter your preferences, will find them with really fun embroidered embellishments this year. And the embroidery comes in a myriad of styles from Victorian floral to modern abstract. Embroidery has been hot on the runways for a couple of years, and it is now filling many of the stores in the area. I was in Stein Mart and saw the mannequin pictured to the left and decided to have a look around. It turned out that Stein Mart has a plethora of great looking embroidered garments so I decided to shop the look there and report my findings. I also found clothing to match the embroidered denim and even accessorized the outfits. So all you have to do is go to your local store or the website and get the pieces you like.
These embroidered jeans are by Earl Jeans and I matched them with a red tie at the waist top that has cut outs down the sleeves. It's made by Live and Let Live and costs $29.99. The white cross body purse which is $29.99 is a charging purse. It has a built in phone charger. The sandals are by Coach and Four and are only $24.98.
The embroidery on these jeans by V Christina ($69.99) is practically neon and the jeans look great with this off the shoulder, tie sleeved top by Premise ($29.99.) The flip flops are by Isaac Mizrahi and are found in the accessories department. The shell flower necklace is by Jules and costs $19.99.
Maybe you would rather wear embroidered denim on your top half than on your bottom half. This Vintage America top features embroidered sleeves and a tied neckline ($39.99.) I've paired it with another pair of Earl Jeans that have small geometric embroidery at the ankle and costs $29.99. The Giggle Wedge Sandal at $44.95 is a perfect match, and a red Magid buckle strap straw bucket Tote ($29.99) adds a pop of color.
These distressed skinny jeans from V Cristina have a delicate floral embroidery with 3D flowers (69.99.) I've topped them with an equally delicate blush top by Cliche ($29.99.) The tan purse is made by IMO and has a built in phone charger ($34.99.) I found the hat and shoes in the accessories department.
If you look closely at these apricot jeans, you'll notice pretty and subtle embroidered embellishment the same color as the jeans. They are made by Eric and cost $49.99. The chambray top by Standard Grace also costs $49,99 and has embroidered flowers that perfectly match the jeans.
I'm afraid this photo doesn't do this jacket justice. The colors are much more vibrant than this photograph makes them look. It's made by Bagetelle and costs $69.99.
All of the pictures above were taken at the Stein Mart at Merchants Walk on Johnson Ferry Road. After visiting the Stein Marts in Alpharetta and Sandy Springs, I discovered that the stores don't all carry the same merchandise. You might or might not find these exact items at your local store. But no matter which store you go to, you will find great looking embroidered garments and other on trend items at fantastic prices.
